The gap

Longevity science is moving fast. Most clinic operations are not.

Longevity founders arrive with conviction, capital and a premium address. The diagnostics are sophisticated. The interiors are beautiful. Then opening day exposes what was never designed:

A team without a standard. Physicians, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists and coaches, each excellent alone, with no shared way of delivering one plan of care.

Reports that don't become programmes. A detailed biomarker panel, a long consultation, and a patient who leaves impressed but never enrols.

Policies written for the inspection, not the clinic floor. Consent, credentialing, referrals and complaints sit in a folder rather than in daily practice.

Marketing that runs ahead of the rules. Promises of "reversal" and "optimal" that the regulator, and an informed patient, will question.

A membership model with no retention engine. Strong first-year revenue, then a quiet second year.

None of this needs more equipment or a bigger fit-out. It needs an operating standard, commissioned before the doors open and kept in place after.

The regulatory moment

Longevity is becoming a regulated category in Dubai.

A dedicated authority now exists. Law No. 17 of 2026 established the Dubai Longevity Authority. It requires a permit from the Authority for defined longevity activities in the Emirate, including in free zones such as DIFC. The Authority's strategy was approved in September 2026.

The permit rules are still being written. The Authority's permit categories and requirements are still being set. Clinics opening now are building before the full framework is published.

Patient communication is under closer scrutiny. New DHA standards for medical advertising on social media prohibit absolute and exaggerated claims and fear-based messaging. They also require the medical director's approval for promotional content by doctors, staff and influencers.

What this means for founders: clinics that build governance, team structure and compliant communication now will be ready as requirements are confirmed. They won't be rebuilding while their patients wait.

Regulatory information is summarised for context and is not legal advice. The Clinic Standard works alongside your licensing, PRO and legal advisers.

Meta Certified Digital Marketing Specialist

Dr Denita Lim is a Dorchester certified 'hospitality meets medicine' trainer.

The first patient walks in on day one. The system determines whether they come back.

For the last ten years, Dr Denita Lim has commissioned premium healthcare environments: VIP hospital wings, luxury hospitals, boutique hospitals and ultra-premium longevity clinics. Commissioning is where a facility stops being a design and becomes a place that treats patients. It is where teams are hired and trained, policies are written and tested, the patient journey is rehearsed, and the regulator walks through the door. Denita has led that work from the inside.

She brings to it a physician's understanding of the treatment room, a quality scientist's discipline (CPHQ in healthcare quality, CPHRM in risk management, CMQ/OE in organisational excellence) and an MBA's view of the commercial decisions behind every clinical one. As a Meta Certified Digital Marketing Specialist, she also knows how a clinic is found, and how to communicate within the rules. The Clinic Standard puts that experience directly in the hands of Dubai's longevity founders.

Every engagement is delivered by Denita personally. No associates. No templated programmes.

How it works

Five steps. Personal at every one.

  1. 1

Request. Choose a service and send a short request with your clinic, location in Dubai, stage and target opening date.

  2. 2

Reply within 24 hours. Denita reviews every request personally and replies with availability and payment details in AED.

  3. 3

Scope. A conversation to understand your concept, team and regulatory route, and to agree the scope of the work.

  4. 4

The work. Every service is delivered directly by Denita, with written follow-up after every engagement.

  5. 5

The 90-day check-in. After a service, a short review of progress against your action list, so the standard holds.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How do payment and booking work?

Send a request with your details and Dr Denita Lim will reply within 24 hours with availability and payment details in AED. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email to arrange your session time.

Which clinics do you work with?

The Clinic Standard works with longevity clinics in Dubai: founders preparing to open, existing clinics adding a longevity service, and clinics in their first years of operation. The frameworks reflect Dubai's regulators, patients and multinational clinic teams. Sessions run by live video, and in-person work in Dubai can be arranged.

Why AED pricing?

The Clinic Standard is a Dubai-based practice, so fees are set in dirhams (AED). All major cards are accepted. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts at its prevailing rate.

Can I cancel or reschedule after booking?

Yes. You can reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before your session by replying to your confirmation email. Cancellations more than 24 hours before the session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at our discretion. Full terms are in the Refunds policy.

What does a fractional managing director engagement look like?

Three days a week for a minimum of three months, with fees shared on request. The work covers operations, marketing and agency management, partnerships and business development, with a monthly report to the owner. It starts with a conversation to agree the scope. Refund and cancellation terms are set in the individual proposal.

Can you help with the Dubai Longevity Authority?

The Dubai Longevity Authority was established by Law No. 17 of 2026, and its permit requirements are still being defined. We help clinics build the governance, policies, team structure and patient communication that a longevity regulator is likely to examine, so you are prepared as requirements are published. We do not provide legal advice or submit permit applications, and we work alongside your legal and PRO advisers.

I run an aesthetics, wellness or functional medicine clinic in Dubai. Is this for me?

Yes, if you are adding a longevity service line. Patient experience training or a fractional managing director are the usual starting points for a clinic adding a longevity service line.

Do you work with competing clinics? How is my information protected?

Client information is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with other clients or organisations. Before accepting an engagement, we confirm there is no conflict of interest, and we decline work where one exists.

Can you secure licence approval or promise business results?

No. Licensing decisions sit with the regulator, and results depend on execution. What we commit to is clear: defined deliverables and direct work with Dr Denita Lim.

Readiness scorecard

How ready is your longevity clinic?
